One thing that the French are renowned for is their style. So when French furniture and home décor company Produit Intérieur Brut opened up its UK website, home-owners knew they were in for a treat.

The firm specializes in a wide range of furniture and accessories – tables, chairs, light fittings, shelving, cupboards and more – but its focus is firmly on all things retro. Modern consumers, surrounded by poor quality, ‘throwaway’ consumables, will definitely appreciate the excellent workmanship that characterizes these creations. Add to that their practicality and robustness, and you have a winning combination.

Produit Intérieur Brut’s vintage furniture designs are made from the finest materials, including solid oak, teak, ash, brushed steel, walnut, top-quality leather and reclaimed elm. They draw inspiration from almost as many different sources. These include the mass-produced, ‘industrial’ look, ‘artisan’ or ‘hand-crafted’ styles and last but not least, the distinctively northern European approach to applied art.
